What to expect when you arrive
We have all experienced many changes with Covid-19. Now due to a recent update from our State Massage Board and Health Department there are several requirements we must abide by in order to provide our services. We understand you need this time now more than ever, as we know how effective the power of touch can be through body work and therapeutic services. Here is what to expect when you arrive.
- When you arrive for your appointment, please send us a text to escape@theplacetoescape.com with your name and appointment time letting us know you are here. (i.e. please make sure you text and not email)
- Please remain in your vehicle until you receive a text from us letting you know your service provider is ready. Your service provider will greet you at the front. At this time our tearoom is not available unless you are receiving all day services.
- If this is your first visit back with us after reopening the spa you will receive a Covid-19 form through your text or email confirmation. Please fill this out before your appointment to guarantee your service begins promptly. If you receive more than one service a month you will be given a short questionnaire to ensure you are free of any symptoms.
- As you enter Escape, we will take your temperature with a laser thermometer then ask you to wash your hands before your service.
- Please be aware that our guidelines given to us by the Health Department and the Alabama Massage Board, require you to enter with a mask on. If you do not have one, we can provide you with one for an additional $2 which will be applied to your invoice at checkout.
